Chinese and Live Auction
The Chinese Auction is a highly recognizable component of many charity functions. We hope to make ours FUN and enjoyable for all. Our goal is to have about 30 quality gifts valued at $100.00 or more. We will be selling an “arms length” of tickets for $20.00 at registration. This year “the arm” will belong to new staff member, Don Osborne, Director of Facilities, who is over 6’ tall, so you will be getting a good value for your money! You will then be able to survey the Chinese Auction table, chose your favorite items and deposit your tickets in the box in front of that item. You may, of course, purchase as many “arms lengths” of tickets as you wish!
The team of golf volunteers will draw the winning tickets while you are on the course, be sure you keep your half of the ticket! When you come to dinner, you can check the prize table and hopefully pick up your winners. Please check back often as we will update the website as we receive donated gifts. In addition to the Chinese Auction, we will also be holding a Live Auction during the Dinner Reception. Last year our live auction added approximately $3000.00 to our “Patient Care Fund”. We usually have tickets to our Philadelphia sports teams, gift certificates to some of the best restaurants in the Delaware Valley, overnight stays to area hotels and other fabulous and unexpected items valued at least $500.00. We take credit cards, checks and cash. Please check our website as we will list the items as we receive them.
